These Membership & Subscription Terms (“Terms”) govern your enrollment in any recurring membership plan offered by Lacerta Spa, operated by Lizard Holding Company (“Lacerta Spa,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By enrolling in a membership, you agree to these Terms as well as our Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and any other policies referenced on our website.

1. Membership Eligibility
To enroll in a Lacerta Spa membership, you must:
●      Be at least 18 years of age;
●      Provide valid payment information;
●      Agree to the 90-day minimum commitment; and
●      Reside in or regularly travel to the Washington, D.C. area to use membership benefits.
We reserve the right to accept or decline membership applications at our discretion.

2. Minimum Commitment Period
All memberships require a minimum 90-day commitment beginning on the date of enrollment.
During this period:
●      Membership fees are non-refundable;
●      Cancellation requests may be submitted but will not take effect until the minimum commitment period has passed.

3. Billing & Payments

3.1 Recurring Billing
Membership fees are billed automatically each month to the payment method you provide, processed through Boulevard Duo, our secure payment partner.

3.2 Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
●      You will be notified by email or SMS;
●      We may make additional attempts to process the payment;
●      Benefits may be paused until your account is in good standing.
We reserve the right to cancel memberships for repeated failed payments.

4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your membership at any time after completing the 90-day minimum commitment, with 30 days’ written notice.

4.1 How to Cancel
You may submit a cancellation request:

●      Through your Boulevard member portal
●      In person at our front desk
Cancellations are effective 30 days after your request is received. You remain responsible for any membership charges that fall within the notice period.

4.2 No Partial Refunds
Membership fees are charged on a monthly basis. We do not prorate or refund for partial months.

5. Non-Transferability
Memberships and associated benefits are non-transferable. Benefits may only be used by the member of record and may not be shared, assigned, or sold.

6. Member Benefits
Benefits vary by membership level and may include:

6.1 Free Yoga Classes
Members (except Access Level members) receive:
●      Complimentary access to select group yoga classes;
●      Access on a first-come, first-served basis;
●      Limited class capacity depending on instructor and room availability.
A valid membership must be active at the time of class participation.

6.2 Discounts on Services & Products
Based on your membership tier, you may receive:
●      Percentage discounts on spa services;
●      Discounts on Lacerta Spa retail products.

Discounts:
●      Do not apply to gift cards unless expressly stated;
●      Cannot be combined with other promotions unless noted;
●      Are only valid for active members.

7. Appointment Policies for Members
Membership appointments are subject to standard spa policies including:
●      24-hour cancellation requirements;
●      Late arrival procedures;
●      No-show fees where applicable.
Membership service credits not used within the billing cycle may expire depending on your membership level. Specific rollover rules will be listed at the time of enrollment.

8. Freezing Your Membership
Members may be eligible to freeze their membership under limited circumstances such as extended travel, medical reasons, or other approved cases.

Freeze rules:
●      Must be requested in advance;
●      May extend your minimum commitment period;
●      May be limited to a certain number of months per year.

9. Changes to Membership Fees or Benefits
Lacerta Spa may modify membership pricing, benefits, or terms at any time.
If changes materially affect your membership:
●      You will be notified at least 30 days in advance;
●      Continued use of membership benefits after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination by Lacerta Spa
We may terminate memberships for:
●      Repeated payment issues;
●      Misuse of facilities, services, or benefits;
●      Violations of spa rules or these Terms;
●      Conduct that endangers staff or other guests.
If we terminate your membership for cause, no refund will be provided.

11. No Medical or Health Guarantees
Lacerta Spa provides wellness and spa services. Membership does not include medical advice or guarantee any particular wellness outcome.

12. Liability & Waivers
Participation in services, classes, and use of facilities is at your own risk. Yoga classes involve physical activity that may not be suitable for all individuals.
Members must sign required waivers prior to participating in services or classes.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
